High Throughput Genotyping

Small errors in DNA genotyping produce disproportionally large decreases in gene and biomarker detection sensitivity. Genizon has one of the largest high-throughput genotyping platforms in the world, with 8 Illumina BeadArray Readers that generate a combined capacity exceeding 4 billion genotypes per month with >99.9% call rates and accuracy. The platform is currently being enhanced to capture Copy Number Variants (CNVs) whose detection has just become viable and which may play a significant role in common diseases. Furthermore, Genizon’s laboratory has additional capabilities for low-to-medium throughput genotyping of SNPs or other variants not amenable to the high-throughput Illumina technology. All laboratory processes, from sample receipt and DNA extraction to genotyping are performed in compliance with GLP standards.
