Each GWAS at Genizon produces terabytes of data that need to be processed, analyzed and stored in a robust and timely manner. Genizon has built a state-of-the-art IT system that combines industry-leading commercial hardware and software solutions and in-house developed systems. Given the critical nature of IT to its business, approximately 30% of employees are in the IT and associated groups.

Key to the efficiency of Genizon’s disease gene/biomarker discovery process is the full integration of the various components starting from the collection and storing of clinical data and DNA through the collection and storage of genetic data, genetic analyses, and bioinformatics to mine the data that are used to develop GeneMaps.
