Genizon's SNP genotyping laboratory offers high-throughput, high quality SNP genotyping to the biopharmaceutical industry, research organizations, and academic institutions, using Illumina's BeadArray technology. All operations are GLP compliant.
Genotyping Platform: Genizon selected the Illumina platform for its industry-leading high call rate and accuracy. The genotyping laboratory operates eight Illumina BeadArray Readers with a capacity of >4 billion genotypes per month.
Platform Flexibility: Genotyping can be carried out using any of the Illumina Infinium BeadArray products (HumanCVD, HumanCytoSNP-12, Human660W-Quad, HumanOmni1-Quad, Human1M-Duo, Human1M-Duo+, Human550-Quad+, BovineSNP50, CanineSNP20, CanineHD, EquineSNP50, OvineSNP50, PorcineSNP60, or iSelect HD custom chips). Genizon will also apply Illumina's GoldenGate assay using standard or custom SNP marker sets, thereby meeting the requirements of any study. Custom SNP pools for the Golden Gate assay can be created in panels ranging in size from 96 to 1,536 SNPs.

Quick Start and High-Throughput: Genotyping can usually start within 4 weeks of study initiation. The start of genotyping using custom chips or custom SNP marker sets is determined by the delivery of the genotyping reagents. Genizon can report a complete SNP data set from 4,000 DNA samples with any Illumina genotyping product within 6 weeks of the start of genotyping.
IT Infrastructure: Genizon's Oracle-based storage and laboratory IT systems handle billions of genotype data points and related information automatically and seamlessly with complete data integrity.
Electronic Data Access and Transfer: Genizon can deliver genotype data on electronic media in any standard format within 7 days of completion of the study. Secure long-term data storage is offered and remote access is available through a secure portal.
